Surfing in Salgados

Just 10 days before I was terminated at the hands of a wicked veterinarian in Hospital Veterinário de Portimão,  I was surfing in Salgados. With Amara, Mommy and her friend Lucas. The memory spined back from Roaring Brooke Lake where I first learned to use a surf board. I always entertained Mommy's friends and especially their children. We were all an extended family and Mommy needed Me, so much! It was her that I fought for so hard to stay alive.  And salmon and boiled egg. My favorite for

breakfast.  Mommy spoiled us but me , especially.  As I was telling you Salgados beaches are wide, sandy and windy, therefore full of surfers. I was the eldest but the smallest at the same time. As we were watching Lucas cutting through the waves to stand on top, I cuddled on the warm sand back to back with Mommy.  Her back was my favorite spot to nap, sometimes the inner knee. It was our last time together at the beach. I was a bit tired but fighting hard to stay atune for Her. I didn't want to leave her Alone, I was her family.  I was worried about her in this terrifying world.
