California was not exactly sunshine and glow

As I was telling you Mommy had to travel to California to look after grandpa and I went along. Unfortunately United Airlines and the crew was not dog friendly.  They sweet dealed Mommy into an upgrade to business class and last minute they tell her dogs are not allowed in cabin, at least in Business Class.  Didn't Matter I was an emotional support dog and my Mommy's therapist.  Only Service dogs were allowed,  at least that's what they said. So can you imagine,  they had a French bulldog like me in a crate in cargo. Criminals! From New York to Los Angeles and than to Ventura. 8 hours of being caged without ventilation,  no food or water.  Who is the animal here? When I arrived in Ventura and Mommy opened the crate I was terrified,  in sock and covered in blood.  My very own blood.  I was bleeding from my testicles. Any man looking at me felt a deep sharp pain from their gut all the way down.  We should have sued United Airlines; instead, Mommy made a pledge never to fly them again and decided it was time I got serious education and become a Service Dog.

I was really young and this trauma lingered over for years.  When I reached 10 years of age I developed a testicular tumor which can vary well be direct result of this accident.  I never understood humans rules for aviation.  But if dogs are humans best friend,  why treat them as Animals?
